(In the first place) (first) all and whole that area or piece of ground extending to 7.686 acres or thereby lying on the north side of the public road from dalkeith to lauder described in disposition by the caledonian insurance company with consent in favour of the stair estates limited recorded grs midlothian 9TH december 1952 and (second) all and whole that area or piece of ground extending to 0.434 acres or thereby bounded on the south southwest by said public road and being the subjects described (second) in disposition by the stair estates limited in favour of alexander marshall wright recorded said grs 22ND may 1953; but excepting therefrom all and whole that piece of ground extending to 0.702 hectares known as fordel haulage yard, lauder road by dalkeith described in disposition by marshall wright & sons limited in favour of r h miller (agricultural) LTD. Recorded said grs 25TH november 1987; and (in the second place) all and whole that triangular area of ground at fordel, lauder road by dalkeith extending to 375 sq. Yards described in disposition by the buccleuch estates LTD, with consent in favour of r h miller (agricultural) LTD, recorded said grs 2ND march 1989; together with the whole buildings and other erections thereon known as fordel filling station, fordel filling station, fordel caravan site and the fordel inn, lauder road by dalkeith.
