Upload a document to Companies House
Use this service to file certain documents online that would usually be sent to us in a paper format.
In this service, you can upload certain documents for:
- share capital
- registrar's powers
- change of constitution
- Scottish limited partnerships
- Scottish qualifying partnerships
- insolvency (registered insolvency practitioners only)
You cannot use this service to upload documents for an overseas entity.

This service was created to enable paperless filing in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. It's quicker to upload your documents than to send them by post.
You'll need:
- to sign in to or create a Companies House account
- the completed document or Companies House form
- to save the completed document to the device you are using
For some document types, you'll need:
- the company authentication code
- to pay for the document
- to include supporting evidence
