Accounting policies |

Basis of preparation |
|
The accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the special provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime. The profit and loss account has not been delivered to the Registrar of Companies.

|
Service charges collected are held on trust for the purpose of meeting the relevant costs in relation to the property in accordance with the provisions of Section 42 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987 and the company acts as trustee in this capacity. |
|
Creditors |
|
The Service charges collected and relevant costs relating to the service charges are no longer included in the company accounts. Information relating to the service charges is dealt with as a separate statement of account.
|
|
Prior year adjustment |
|
The accounts for the previous year have been restated to reflect the fact that the Services charges are held in trust for the residents of Brandon Court and are not an asset of Brandon Flats Limited. |
|
Taxation |
|
No liability to Corporation tax arose in the period ending 30th September 2018 nor in the year ending 30th September 2017
