Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts
At the balance sheet date the company had net liabilities of £39,355 (2015 - £35,190) including sums due to the company directors totaling £273,900 (2015 - £239,900). These financial statements have been prepared on the going concern basis on the assumption that the personal funding by the directors will provide financial support for the foreseeable future. The directors are confident that this support will continue and that the going concern basis continues to be appropriate. The financial statements do not include any adjustments that would result from a withdrawal of financial support from the directors.
Compliance with accounting standards
The financial statements are prepared in accordance with applicable United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice), which have been applied consistently (except as otherwise stated).
Turnover policy
Tangible assets depreciation policy
Fixtures, fittings & equipment - 20% Reducing Balance
Motor Vehicles - 25% Straight Line
Although this accounting policy is in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008), it is a departure from the general requirement of the Companies Act 2006 for all tangible assets to be depreciated. In the opinion of the directors compliance with the standard is necessary for the financial statements to give a true and fair view. Depreciation or amortisation is only one of many factors reflected in the annual valuation and the amount of this which might otherwise have been charged cannot be separately identified or quantified.
