1. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
|
Basis of preparing the financial statements |
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2015) and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluation of certain assets. |
|
Changes in accounting policies |
Income and expenditure are stated gross of VAT in the financial statements for the year-ended 31 March 2016, |
having previously been shown net of VAT. Net VAT recoverable or irrecoverable is also now shown separately |
within the trading profit & loss account within the financial statements in order for the change of accounting |
policy not to alter the net reported profit for the year. |

Turnover represents management charges levied in the year inclusive of VAT (previously net) except in respect |
of service contracts where turnover is recognised when the company obtains the right to consideration. |
