We organised the annual Kennington Park festival with 'Friends of Kennington Park'. This provided a wealth of stalls and activities to local families, and showcased a diverse wealth of local performance groupsDuring the festival we provided free meals to a number of families who are on our Free School Meals database.We provide 300 free meals over the school Christmas Holidays to families on our databaseWe rented out the Community Space at the Trunk, Elephant Park at discounted rates to a number of local community groups, mostly working with youth, such as the 'Active Community Network'. This was involved with anti-gang and anti-knife projectsWe rented out the Community Space at the Trunk, Elephant Park, at discounted rates to local Health and Wellness Groups, such as Yoga therapy and Tai Chi.
We have consulted extensively with the Landlord of the Trunk , Elephant Park - Lend Lease. As part of their plan to increase local Community Support Projects, we have agreed to take a lease of the site at Elephant Park, in order to increase our contribution to local communities. This will integrate their Hub ad booking system with our activities to maximise the overall benefits provided locally.We have consulted with many of the needy families on our database with a view to developing a bulk food buying system utilising the 'Open Collective' platform. This we are working on.We have consulted with various local Restaurants and developed meals that can be distributed locally, at heavily discounted prices to MHW, these are being provided free to needy families.We have worked with the Felix Project to provide groceries to our local recipients.
The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £6,400.There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
