The different activities undertaken by Africa Dyslexics United (ADU) have helped many people with learning conditions. We have provided online programmes over Zoom, coffee mornings, and adults support groups. We have taken part on different platforms to share our stories. Through our services, we have been able to raise awareness of dyslexia, especially in African communities. We have also supported and educated people with dyslexia with the right tools and techniques to navigate through life with neuro-diverse conditions. We have given guidance to our communities on how to seek extra support. The impact has been very positive, especially throughout the pandemic. Adults with neuro-diverse conditions were facing so many challenges but they had a safe platform to share their struggles and get support from ADU.
We have hosted coffee mornings and workshops as well as meetings to consult with the stakeholders and in turn shape the services that we provide.
The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £2,823.There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
