The company provides live-in companions to people who have support needs to live more independently. These people might be elderly, people with Dementia, and/or people with physical or mental disabilities.The companions we match are individuals who desperately need affordable accommodation because of their financial circumstances. These individuals have some spare time to offer to those who need support and companionship at home. In exchange they are offered affordable accommodation by the Householder.Support&Match CIC has matched a number of individuals under these programmes which has been mutually beneficial to both parties. In addition, this programme has proven to be beneficial to local authorities by reducing the overall costs of care to the community.Support&Match CIC provides the following beneficial Support and Accommodation solutions to communities in the UK.Main website: www.supportmatch.co.ukWe are currently working with NHS South West England and Cornwall Council to address the accommodation, support and housing crisis that they are facing.We hope to deploy a full solution that provides support and accommodation to those in need.For the NHS we are identifying Householders and Homeowners that are willing to offer NSH Doctors, Medical Students and Social Care workers affordable accommodation in the householders home.
Its members: Sibel Whitehead & Zaira De Novellis whose work for the CIC encourages the other stakeholders such as the local community and councils in helping the CIC achieve its targets and deliverables as set out in Part 1.
