In the space provided below, please insert a general account of the company’s activities in the financial year to which the report relates, including a description of how they have benefited the community. During this financial year “OK” Our Kids have worked with dozens of Primary schools and Children within those schools. Our “Watch Out” book, a Child’s guide to everyday dangers, has helped numerous kids who have mental health issues. The book has 27 subjects in ranging from “Emotional Wellbeing” to “Family Dangers”. We focus on 5 – 11 year olds. We sell our book for a £1 which is great value considering it’s content is invaluable.Rotary Clubs, Councils, Police and other organisations have come on board and have funded the book allowing us to give it to schools at NO cost to them.Lynn and I, when invited, go into schools and talk about the many subjects to assembles and individual classes. This we do at NO cost to the school. We pride ourselves on doing our work for the LOVE of it and do not take any wages. Our aim is to get a “Watch Out” book to EVERY child in the UK. They will take these home to their parents or guardians to read together. Our success is shown by the “Take up” rate by Primary schools. An example of this is the Wallingford and Didcot Rotary were asked and did supply 4,000 books to their local primary schools. Burnham Beeches Rotary bought 3,500 books for their local schools. We have a pet Primary School in Hughenden Primary. The changes we and the Head Teacher Sarah Leighton have seen in the children who require help has been immense. The books work wonderfully well and the test has always been getting Councils on board as they all have hundreds of Primary schools under their umbrella. Both Bucks County Council and Oxford County Councils are on board and we are presently working with the Devon and Cornwall councils.
Our Stakeholders are the Primary schools around the UK. We work with Thames Valley and the City of London police. We also work with the Bucks and Oxford County councils who have endorsed our “Watch Out” book. Other organisations like Rotary and Lions Clubs have come on board to get the books into Primary schools. The book has been endorsed by both Police forces, both Councils, NSPCC, Barnardos and the World land Trust. We are in constant contact with all of these organisations. We are currently working with Devon and Cornwall councils and with that the Police and local organisations.
