It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. The principal activity of TCWREI is to establish and manage renewable energy generating plants in India. Included in the above cost is a balance of £533,065 relating to fully compulsorily convertible debentures (FCCDs) with a coupon rate of 10.25%. The debentures are convertible (if mutually agreed) into equity shares after 120 months from the date of allotment. The directors preference at this stage would be to seek an extension of the FCCD arrangement rather than a conversion to shares. The company's strategy is to grow operating profits through the increase in activity in its asset management services.CW Renewable Energy (India) Private Limited (CWREI) is registered in India. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. The principal activity of CWREI is to establish and manage renewable energy generating plants in India.CWRE Limited is incorporated in the UK. It is 60.5% (2020: 60.5%) owned by the company. The principal activity of CWRE Limited is to raise funds for investment in the purchase, development and operation of renewable energy assets. The company's strategy is to grow operating profits through the increase the number of assets under management.Based on management's assessment of current circumstances and future plans, the directors consider that no revaluation in subsidiaries investment values is necessary.
