In order to assist you to fulfil your duties under the Companies Act 2006, we have prepared for your approval the abbreviated accounts of PMA Productions Limited for the year ended 30 June 2016 which comprise of the balance sheet and the related notes from the company’s accounting records and from information and explanations you have given us. |

This report is made solely to the Board of Directors of PMA Productions Limited, as a body, in accordance with the terms of our engagement letter. Our work has been undertaken solely to prepare for your approval the accounts of PMA Productions Limited and state those matters that we have agreed to state to the Board of Directors of PMA Productions Limited, as a body, in this report in accordance with AAF 2/10 as detailed at icaew.com/compilation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept or assume responsibility to anyone other than PMA Productions Limited and its Board of Directors as a body for our work or for this report. |
It is your duty to ensure that PMA Productions Limited has kept adequate accounting records and to prepare statutory accounts that give a true and fair view of the assets, liabilities, financial position and profit of PMA Productions Limited. You consider that PMA Productions Limited is exempt from the statutory audit requirement for the year. |
We have not been instructed to carry out an audit or a review of the accounts of PMA Productions Limited. Accounting policies |

Basis of preparation |
|
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2015).

Turnover |
|
Turnover represents the value, net of value added tax and discounts, of goods provided to customers and work carried out in respect of services provided to customers.
|

Depreciation |
|
Depreciation has been provided at the following rates in order to write off the assets over their estimated useful lives. |

Costumes |

Sets and costumes |
|
Sets and costumes are capitalised and written off over their useful lives. They were previously shown as stocks, costumes with no write down and sets being written down on a reducing balance basis of 25%. This started on 1st July 2013. |

Deferred taxation |
|
Full provision is made for deferred taxation resulting from timing differences between the recognition of gains and losses in the accounts and their recognition for tax purposes. Deferred taxation is calculated on an un-discounted basis at the tax rates which are expected to apply in the periods when the timing differences will reverse. |
