Audit exemption statement
For the financial year ended 30 September 2016 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 480 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to dormant companies.
Directors' responsibilities:

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year in question in accordance with section 476;
-
The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies' regime.

Accounting policies
1.1
Accounting convention
The financial statements are prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2015).
1.2
Compliance with accounting standards
The financial statements are prepared in accordance with applicable United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice), which have been applied consistently (except as otherwise stated).
1.3
Deferred taxation
Deferred taxation is provided in full in respect of taxation deferred by timing differences between the treatment of certain items for taxation and accounting purposes. The deferred tax balance has not been discounted.
1.4
During the year the company has acted as agent for the lessees of the property at Field Court, 33 Sunningfields Road, London, NW4 4QT. The funds in relation to the maintenance of the property are held in trust. As at 30 September 2016 the cash balance held on behalf of the lessees amounted to £5,684.
The company therefore has no income or expenditure in its own right in relation to the maintenance of the common parts of the property held in accordance with the governing leases. Income and expenditure arising from these transactions is shown in separate service charge accounts for the property that do not form part of the annual accounts of the company and are not filed at Companies House. The accounts can be obtained from Field Court Residents Limited.

During 2010 it was resolved that the service charge assets and associated liabilities in relation to the maintenance of the property governed by the lease should be held
on behalf of the lessees
and reported separately from the statutory company accounts
. While the service charges were reported separately for the year ended 30 September 2010, the assets and liabilities were not removed from the company accounts.
On this basis, a prior year adjustment has been made to
exclude
the amounts which relate to the service charge fund
and report the corrected closing balances. As a result the following adjustments have been made:
