Freehold buildings - Straight line over twenty five years
Fixtures, fittings
and equipment - 25% straight line
No depreciation is charged on land.
In accordance with the provisions of the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2015) ("the FRSSE") investment properties are stated at their market value and no depreciation is provided in respect of these properties. This is a departure from the requirements of the Companies Act 2005 to ensure that the accounts show a true and fair view. Had the requirements of the FRSSE not been followed the depreciation charge for the financial year would have increased by £12,950 (2015 - £12,950) and the retained profit for the year would have been £33,637 (2015 - £14,192).
